CANO INDUSTRIAL HISTORY

Cano Industrial is a company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of commercial and industrial adhesives and sealants. It began its work in 1959 and is located on Calle Parque industrial Cayacoa, km18 Aut. Duarte, La Guayiga- Pedro Brand, Provincia Santo Domingo.

It was originally to manufacture and supply adhesives for the footwear industry, becoming the first manufacturer of these products in the Dominican Republic.

Currently, the organization has expanded their product portfolio with Flexographic inks, Offset inks, Cements for PVC, Wood glues and products for the construction such as caulks and sealants.

In June 2010, in order to improve responsiveness and customer satisfaction to a growing market, and additional production plant was installed for water-based adhesives in Palamara on Highway No. 23, El Pedregal, Km 22.

Due to globalization and free trade agreements in which the country finds itself, the company expanded its business to international markets, with exports to countries in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

OUR QUALITY CULTURE

With more than 50 years on the market, our products have always been characterized by its Quality. We have a trained team of professionals, and together we implemented a quality management system based on ISO 9001:2008. We achieved certification in January 2008 with TUV-SUD; further evidence of our commitment to continuous quality improvement. In 2014, we obtained recertification with AENOR-IQ-NET. Lastly in 2017 we adapt to the version of ISO 9001: 2015.

In March 2008, we were awarded with the National Industrial Excellence Medium Business category. Later on, we were elected “Company of the Year 2008” by the Association of Herrera in the Dominican Republic.
In January 2009, we received recognition by the Ministry of Public Administration for the establishment of models of quality and excellence in the private sector.
